High-precision spacer-discs, machined exactly for parallel opposing surfaces.

Thin rings, with for example 0.3mm thickness, can be used in largeframe engines to eliminate mechanical play between the circlip and the bearing.
The thicker rings (0.5mm-1.0mm) are used to correctly position the crankshaft within the crankcase when the OE thrust washers have been upgraded to more modern versions, without sheet-metal disc (e.g. crankshaft #45184500).
