Their pistons are also becoming extremely popular for the high-end tuning of Vespas and are included as standard with the performance cylinder made by FALC.The’PRO RACE’ forged piston by VERTEX is a very high quality and also low in weight. The high-end alloy used in its construction ensures durability and more resistance to heat seizure.The piston skirt is provided with a low friction surfacing layer that assists during the running-in process, to match the piston to the bore of the cylinder. It is also provided with weight saving cut-outs above the gudgeon pin opening and its pair of 1mm thick piston rings increase stiffness, stability and compatibility with higher motor speeds.Aluminium/ 57.00/58.00mm diameter/ plated bore contact surface/ 2x1mm piston rings
