The integrated LED-tube allows the headlight assembly to emit a fine white beam of light, similar to the daytime lighting facility found on modern motorcycles. This headlamp rim is not meant to function as a daylight, independent of the main headlight, but it is used as a complementary lighting during the day along with the original headlight unit.
