Product description
ThePIAGGIO Leader, LEM, Quasar, and Master motors (125 ?C 300cc) possess build tolerances for the seating area of thecrankshaft bearing (main bearing). To compensate for the varying dimensions PIAGGIO fitted either a category 1(FC 1) or 2 (FC 2) crankshaft type. If you intend to replace the crankshaft ensure you order the correct type.
Do not forget to order new gaskets and shaft oil-seals! Remember to check the old crankshaft for the correct type!
Information : The easiest method to identify the crankshaft included in your motor is to first remove it from the crankcases! There is a number engraved into the bottom of one of the crankshaft webs, such as 04/14*1. ’04/14 designates the date of production, the number ‘1’ shows its type. A ‘1’ for category 1 crankshafts (FC_1), a ‘2’ for category 2 crankshafts (FC-2)!
