Sport ?C Sport orientated friction plates with a cork covering. Kit includes plain plates and a strengthened actuator spring. These plates are excellent as a direct replacement for the original in a standard, or lightly tuned, motor set-up.
MHR ?C The MHR clutch plate kits are intended for more hard-working motors. They are also manufactured with a cork surfacing material but the kit includes an extra friction plate for an increased frictional surface area, making your clutch more ideal for road-tuned motor set-ups. In the 2016er versions the blades were changed by perforated blades.
MHR Team ?C Welcome to the world of MALOSSI HYPER RACING! A specially developed frictional surface coating and also surfaced plain plates make up the special ingredients of this high-end clutch plate kit. A ‘must-have’ accessory for all maximum performance motor set-ups!
Conclusion: Necessary for every tuning project.
A new woodruff key, clutch nut and clutch nut locking washer are necessary while servicing your clutch. Reinforced springs are highly recommended. Do not forget to order gearbox oil for an overnight soak of the friction plates prior to assembly. For this plates Malossi recommends MALOSSI SVX Sport gearbox oil for Vespa motors. Reinforced clutch basket and lock washers are a good addition for high rpm’s. When changing the clutch plates, also replace the
clutch washer disc
