Product description
Xtrem Flow – yet even more flowed crankshafts! Successor flowed crankshafts in the SERIE PRO line even more boldly modified, some with stroke up to 63 mm. Which is the right one Flowed EVO or bell shaped crankshaft This decision can be made only by the quarter miler and Dyno Jet. There are two differet opinions in the high end pilot cockpit. The only way to know is to try it out yourself.
The EVO flowed crankshaft by WORB5 is eye candy. You won’t find a crankshaft with more flow than this one. Super workmanship. The crank stub has been laser welded on the 62er to intensify durability. The 62er and the 62.5er are outfitted with a DRT pop up stub, welding is not an absolute necessity here. With this version the crankcase will need to be milled, to keep the connecting rod placed further on out from contact. A MALOSSI must be raised up 0.5 – 1.0 mm higher, to keep the piston ring from springing out. A 210cc with 62 mm stroke gets up to 228 cc’s! Crankshafts are based on the TAMENI long stroke shaft.
The 63mm crankshafts by PEP Parts are a new construction. They are a limited edition produced in Italy. Their polished flanges are extremely modified. Their crank studs are made of high quality molding material, making them twist resistant without welding.
Conclusion
: more stroke has its cost and requires effort, but it’s well worth it to stay ahead of the pack.
Flowed crankshaft EVO/ stroke 60-63 mm / connecting rod 110 mm / 24/25 mm, M12 Flowed crankshaft EVO, with streamlined crankwebs, balanced at 12 o’clock, lower connecting rod bearing = silver bearing, 110 mm connecting rod 60/62/62.5/63 mm stroke, oil seal housing 24 mm, bearing housing 25 mm, stump cone with M12 thread, incl. connecting rod bearing
SIP community user Ben Nowak, PEP Parts, Germany:
“The 63mm shaft runs in our quarter mile motor with 37.4
PS and 33.5 Nm.”
